I’m Pivoting. Let’s Pivot…Piv-ot!!!

Love the theme of this one today. Already switching things up.

The main book I wanted finally came in this morning. It’s called The Pivot Year, by Brianna West.

” … to create a mosaic of experience – ever-forming, ever-evolving, ever-unfolding…. you are exactly where you need to be. This is the perfect day to start your life again.”

– Brianna West

I like it already, Short. To the point. One page long. I can dissect this more easily than I can read 16 pages when I am tired. This feels more like a reminder than a task. DeSalvo says I don’t need perfect conditions to write, so today, we are combining projects. Weis says, “Today is enough to start again”. I like it… I like the theme of all the books I’ve chosen… I think they all tie in together nicely, allowing me to curate my own thing and be flexible.

Today, efficiency wins.

Btw. I knocked out that 8-mile run. Hence, the low energy to be here, & really, I am trying to stay off the internet. The world feels heavy right now, considering all sides of what happened. And I don’t really want to unpack my opinion about anything. But I will say, violence is never the answer. It does not fix hatred; if anything, it creates more.

We do, in fact, need more kindness in this world!

To be continued….

🌀 Tiny detour for the brain – you’ve been warned.

Runners High. Because your girl is PRoud!

Long Morning Run.

8.5- Miles

This felt appropriate today. Big feelings make me feel really energetic. This was a motivated run for sure! I use “Runna“, the app, and I love it. I can be flexible… like when I got to NYC this weekend, I don’t have any crazy runs scheduled until I get home. Keeping things easy! 4.5 tomorrow – let’s hope the motivation is inspired by a little more positivity.
